S.A.M. Annual Convention of Magic: Houdini 100 Years Later

The S.A.M. Annual Convention of Magic comes to Appleton, Wisconsin, July 1 to 4, 2026, with the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley serving as the conference hotel. The setting is central to the occasion: Appleton was Houdini’s childhood home, and the town will host Houdini-related events during the convention.

Under the theme “Houdini 100 Years Later: Honoring the Legacy,” the gathering brings magicians, families, youth members, and S.A.M. members together to celebrate Houdini’s life, artistry, and lasting influence on magic.
