S.A.M. Annual Convention of Magic 2027: 125th Anniversary

The Society of American Magicians turns 125 in 2027, and the anniversary convention runs June 28 to July 1 at the Tropicana in Atlantic City, on the Boardwalk.

The S.A.M. annual convention moves to a different city each year and covers the whole art: stage shows, close-up shows, lectures and special events, with close-up and stage contests and a room of exhibitors selling props, books and collectibles. Gala stage shows run every evening, and tickets to those are sold to the public as well as to registrants. There are events for young magicians and alternative programming for non-magicians.

Registration is all-access, with separate rates for S.A.M. members and non-members, a family rate covering people in the same household, and SAMY registration for members aged 7 to 17 attending with a registered parent or guardian. The first hundred member registrants receive free entry to a special event, and the first twenty SAMY registrations are free. The published rates hold until May 31, 2027.
