Magic & Meaning Conference 2026

Magic & Meaning is McBride's Magic & Mystery School's annual gathering of magicians, scholars, speakers and performers, and 2026 marks its twentieth year. The conference streams live online November 6 to 8, so it can be attended from anywhere.

The program brings sixteen PEP talks (Performance, Entertainment, Philosophy), ensemble shows, breakout discussions and taught magic, led by school founder Jeff McBride and dean Larry Hass. The opening session runs Friday 2:00 to 3:30pm Pacific, with Saturday and Sunday running 11:30am to 4:30pm Pacific.

Registration is 145 dollars, with a 70 dollar minimum deposit option, and every session is recorded: attendees receive a Master Key package of documents and videos so the whole conference can be watched on demand afterward. Presenters can submit proposals through the call for presentations on the event page.
