Houdini Club of Wisconsin Convention 2026

Since 1938 the Houdini Club of Wisconsin has existed to promote magic and to perpetuate the name of Harry Houdini, Wisconsin's most illustrious magician. Its annual convention is the highlight of the club's year: world class magic shows, lectures, contests, dealers, and an awards banquet, with plenty of time for sessioning with old friends and meeting new ones.

The 2026 convention carries a date no other magic gathering can match. It closes on Saturday, October 31, exactly one hundred years to the day since Houdini died on Halloween of 1926. There is no more fitting way to mark that centennial than with the club that has spent nearly nine decades keeping his name alive in his home state.

The convention returns to the Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Airport, which is also the convention hotel; mention the Houdini Club when booking for the club rate. The 2026 registration form has not been published yet. As a guide, 2025 registration was $150 for adults and $80 for juniors 17 and younger, handled by mail.
