GatorGateGathering, GGG for short, is Orlando's tiny magic convention: a small weekend built around lectures and late-night sessioning, where you apply to attend and the people you came to learn from are in the room all weekend. Thursday to Saturday, January 7 to 9, 2027.
The 2027 lecturers announced so far are Alex Geiser, Bill Abbott, Suzanne, Steve Ehlers and Doc Docherty, with more speakers still under wraps. Each day brings 90-minute lectures, Friday night is The Big Show with the lecturers performing their best material, and every evening ends in the magic room with dinner, sessioning and hanging out with the Gators. Sessions have been known to run until the sun comes up.

New for 2027, the gathering moves to the Cambria Hotel Orlando Airport, under two miles from MCO, with a free airport shuttle and lower room rates than before: $125 a night for the convention block, against a regular rate of about $202. Staying at the hotel is the whole point, because that is where the sessioning happens.
