Gateway Close-Up Convention 2027

The Gateway Close-Up Convention returns for its sixth year: three days of close-up magic in Collinsville, Illinois, just across the river from St. Louis.

The 2027 lineup brings nine premiere performers: Doug Conn, Chris Randall, Patrick Redford, Keith Leff, Nick Lewin, Tom Frank, Paul Vigil, Jamie Masterson, and Michael Kaminskas. Expect lectures from morning to night, small breakout sessions where you can ask the questions you actually care about, two full close-up shows, and a dealers room stocked by Trick Supply, Morgan Magic Lab, Don's Magic and Books, and Magic Eye Productions.

Registration is $250 and the room is capped at 150 registrants, which is the point: this is an intimate gathering built around decades of close-up expertise, and everyone gets a good seat. First-time registrants receive a commemorative Gateway lapel pin with their package, and extra pins are available for $10 while they last.
