Fröhlich Magic Convention 2026

The Fröhlich Magic Convention 2026 takes place from 10 to 13 September 2026 in Bad Aussee.

The organizers describe it as a surprise convention, with the program revealed at the opening show and a focus on full theatrical productions rather than conventional act-based gala formats. Planned features include 29 international artists, five gala shows, two late-night shows, a youth program, six seminars or talks, a dealers' fair, an international competition, the Fröhlich Prize presentation, and a large after-show close-up gala.

Announced concepts include “The Future of Magic,” “Magic of Africa – Extravaganza,” “Die Wikinger kommen,” and “Magic Mountains – the Close-up Event.” The convention is aimed at magicians and magic professionals, with a limited capacity of around 350 participants.

A public family show with Alexander Krist, “Magic and Illusions,” is also scheduled at the Kur- und Congresshaus Bad Aussee on Sunday, 13 September 2026 at 15:00.
