Exonian 90th Anniversary Magic Convention 2026

The Exonian Magical Society, Devon's club for magicians, marks its ninetieth anniversary with a one-day convention on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at The Waie Inn in Zeal Monachorum, near Crediton.

The day packs in four lectures, a close-up show, a workshop, dealers, a three-course meal and an evening gala show. The announced lineup: John Archer, the British Magic Championship winner, Ken Dodd comedy award winner and TV comedy mentalist; Nikola Arkane from Ireland and Sweden, Swedish stage magic winner, IBM winner and Magic Castle performer, who also brings her Fizz Wizz Pop children's entertainment lecture; Eric Tait from the USA, 2022 FISM winner, International IBM winner and Penn & Teller: Fool Us performer; and Johnny Clavo, the plasticine maestro from Peru, with more acts to follow.

Day tickets are 50 pounds, the evening meal and gala is 40, or the full day including the three-course meal is 75. On-site accommodation at the inn is limited, and details and booking go through the Exonian Convention Facebook group.
