Welcome to the 87th Annual Abbott’s Magic Get-Together!

Since 1934, the world’s most celebrated magicians have gathered in the small village of Colon, Michigan to perform, learn, and connect at what has become one of magic’s most revered traditions. Now in its 87th year, the Abbott’s Magic Get-Together continues to draw international audiences for four unforgettable days of live performances, lectures, competitions, and community celebration.

A Legacy Unlike Any Other

For nearly nine decades, the Get-Together has been the proving ground and playground for the most respected names in magic. Blackstone, Tarbell, McBride, Lance Burton, and Jeff Hobson have all taken part in what’s become the longest-running magic convention in the world.

Recognized by the Detroit Free Press as Michigan’s “#1 Unique Convention,” the event transforms Colon into a living theatre of magic—with street performers, historic tours, daily shows, lectures, contests, and nonstop entertainment.

What to Expect During the Get-Together

• Four Nights of Stage Shows
  Each evening features a new lineup of world-class magicians and variety entertainers. These are full-scale productions held in the air-conditioned Colon High School Auditorium.

• Daily Magic Lectures
  Learn directly from some of magic’s most respected minds. Full registration includes access to every lecture throughout the week.

• Street Performances and Busking
  From noon to dusk, you’ll find world-class magicians performing throughout the village—restaurants, sidewalks, and parks become stages.

• $5 Abbott’s Showroom Shows
  Held in Abbott’s historic headquarters, these classic matinees offer charming, family-friendly magic surrounded by rare magic history.

• Curly’s Close-Up Contest
  A true classic. Magicians battle it out in one of the most chaotic and high-energy environments imaginable: a bar packed with magic fans.

• Vent-O-Rama
  A lighthearted and instructional event introducing audiences to the basics of ventriloquism—no puppet or prior experience required.

  Join Al The Only for an unforgettable walking tour through the resting place of many of magic’s legends—each with a story to tell.

• Colon Historical Museum’s Magic Exhibit
